Sign Language is one of New Zealand’s official languages and Kiwis have just wrapped up Sign Language Week from 6-10 May 2024. It was a time to commemorate the push for more inclusivity in everything we do.

NZSL week calls on us all to imagine a society where barriers are minimized. This has the potential to revolutionize communication – potentially enabling players to sign directly with the platform, rather than needing to type. Also on the cards is game design with inclusivity in mind. Developers are looking at creating games with enhanced visual components, providing even richer experiences for deaf players.
