PrizePicks Revs Up Its Sports Marketing with McLaren Racing Partnership

Get ready for some high-octane excitement! PrizePicks has just announced a major new sports marketing strategy, teaming up with the legendary McLaren Racing. This partnership is a big deal, covering both IndyCar and Formula 1, and it puts PrizePicks right in the middle of some of the most thrilling motorsport events out there.

PrizePicks Takes the Wheel in IndyCar

This agreement makes PrizePicks an official partner of the Arrow McLaren IndyCar team. What’s more, they’ll have a starring role at the upcoming 110th running of the Indianapolis 500. PrizePicks will be the main sponsor for the No. 31 Chevrolet, driven by the skilled Ryan Hunter-Reay, during this massive race. But it’s not just a one-off; this collaboration will see PrizePicks branding visible across multiple racing platforms and digital campaigns throughout the 2026 season. The Indy 500 is the highlight, with PrizePicks’ logo front and center on Hunter-Reay’s car. This race is one of the biggest events in global motorsports, offering incredible exposure for the gaming operator. The striking new car design was unveiled in Miami, perfectly timed with a Formula 1 race weekend, kicking off a coordinated launch across different racing formats. Beyond the Indy 500, you’ll spot PrizePicks logos on other Arrow McLaren cars during the season. The branding will appear on the rear tire ramps of the team’s full-time IndyCar entries – the No. 5, No. 6, and No. 7 cars. The partnership also means visibility at the Miami Grand Prix, where PrizePicks branding will be featured on the inner halo of McLaren’s Formula 1 cars. Ryan Hunter-Reay, a past winner of the Indianapolis 500, expressed his enthusiasm. He’s excited to work with PrizePicks, calling them a creative and innovative group that will bring a fresh energy and new fans to the Indy 500 and IndyCar racing.

Expanding Reach Through Motorsports

This move into motorsports shows PrizePicks’ ambition to connect with diverse sports fans. They see a lot of untapped potential in the world of racing. The partnership includes plans for cool co-branded digital content that will be shared on Arrow McLaren’s social media channels leading up to the Indianapolis 500. You can also expect fan engagement activities in both Miami and Indianapolis, with marketing campaigns and on-site promotions planned. Joey Molko, Senior Vice President of Partnerships at PrizePicks, explained the bigger picture. He said that PrizePicks is all about bringing fans closer to the sports they love. Partnering with a team as iconic as McLaren Racing allows them to take that mission straight to the racetrack. They’re looking forward to working together to connect fans with motorsports in unique and innovative ways that only PrizePicks and McLaren can offer. Molko also pointed out a perceived gap in interactive gaming within motorsports. He feels that motorsports hasn’t had as much focus on interactive gaming and building gaming solutions around it compared to other sports. PrizePicks is exploring new ways to engage fans with racing events, including potential products tied directly to the Indianapolis 500.

Building on Past Successes

This venture into motorsports follows a string of recent deals that have broadened PrizePicks’ presence across major sports leagues. Just recently, they secured a multi-year agreement with the NBA, allowing them to integrate league content into their daily fantasy sports and free-to-play offerings. PrizePicks also has a history with stock car racing, having previously partnered with NASCAR as an official fantasy sports partner. This new collaboration with Arrow McLaren builds on that experience while introducing the brand to a different segment of the motorsport community. It’s important to note that this partnership focuses on branding, fan engagement, and digital content, rather than prediction market offerings. The financial details of the agreement have not been shared. This deal cleverly connects various aspects of McLaren’s racing operations, uniting their IndyCar and Formula 1 programs under a single sponsorship structure. The Arrow McLaren Team Principal, Tony Kanaan, was even involved in promotional activities for the announcement, including a special showcase of the No. 31 car in Miami. The timing also aligns perfectly with the preparations for the Indianapolis 500, where Arrow McLaren drivers are actively participating in pre-race testing. Ryan Hunter-Reay joins the team for this special event, adding even more buzz to the PrizePicks-branded entry.
