Flamingos Go Wild: Las Vegas Tourist Gets More Than He Bargained For
So, picture this: you’re at Flamingo Las Vegas, expecting a chill time with some notoriously chill birds. Turns out, these flamingos decided to ditch their zen-like demeanor and go full-on attack mode on some poor Canadian tourist. Ouch.
A Spokesperson Speaks (Sort Of)
When asked about the incident, a Flamingo spokesperson dropped a gem of ambiguity. “Am I a spokesperson for the Flamingo or a flamingo? It’s capitalized, but ambiguous. This is an important distinction.” Honestly, who can blame them for being a little confused?
The “FAFO Doctrine” and Fake News
The flamingos involved won’t be facing any charges, thanks to what we’re calling the “FAFO Doctrine” for made-up news. Don’t ask your mom to look it up, just trust us on this one.
April Fools’ and The Absurdity of Reality
This whole debacle kind of highlights how tough it is to pull off April Fools’ pranks these days. Reality is so bonkers, it’s practically writing its own jokes. Remember that drunk tourist who somehow managed to kidnap a flamingo and take it to his room? Yeah, that actually happened. The flamingos, thankfully, have recovered and are back to posing prettily (or aggressively) in their not-so-natural habitat.
Remember Photoshop? We Invented Internet Humor
Man, AI is wild, right? Back in the day, we had to actually work for our laughs, spending hours doctoring images in something called “Photoshop.” You can check out some of our old April Fools’ pranks if you’re feeling nostalgic. We pretty much invented internet humor, so be nice.
A Word to the Wise (and the Drunk)
Seriously though, attacking wildlife? Not cool. We’re all for a good laugh, but maybe stick to the slot machines. And if you’re looking for the real deal on Vegas, you know where to find it.
